Symantec Launched Norton Antivirus 2008, Norton Internet Security 2008


Today Symantec launched Norton Antivirus 2008 and Norton Internet Security 2008. Both will remove viruses from email and instant messages, block Internet worms at point of entry, stop spyware from tracking you online, block spyware from hijacking your computer, and remove dangerous threats from files you download.

But Norton Internet Security 2008 can also block hackers from accessing your computer, Prevent unknown threats from entering your PC, guard against online identity theft, inspect Web sites to make sure they're not fakes, block suspicious programs and allow only authorized programs to connect to the Internet.

These products are designed for both Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Vista users.

The retail price of Norton AntiVirus 2008 is US$39.99 which includes a one-year service subscription to use the product and receive Symantec's protection updates. Norton AntiVirus 2008 Small Office Packs for five and 10 users will be available for a suggested retail price of US$89.99 and US$149.99, respectively.

The retail price for Norton Internet Security 2008 is US$69.99 for a three PC license, which includes a one-year service subscription to use the product and receive Symantec's protection updates. Norton Internet Security 2008 Small Office Packs for five and 10 users will be available for a suggested retail price of US$109.99 and US$199.99, respectively.
