The key to this printing is the special paper designed by Zink Team. The paper is made up of with dye crystals embedded inside and a polymer overcoat layer outside. The Zink Paper looks like normal white photo paper. At the time of printing the Zink Printer uses heat to activate and colorize these crystals.
